Masjid Abdullah ibn Masud

About Us

Saffron Community Trust serves to provide multiple services for the community, such as a food bank for those in need, as well as a madrasah for children aged five – sixteen.

Services and education are offered to the adults in the community in the form of counselling and lessons in learning the Qur’an as well as the foundations of our deen.

Our Mission

The Saffron area is one of the few areas of Leicester that has no Masjid, with the Muslims of the local area not being able to perform Jumuah salah until a local hall was hired in 2018. Jumuah Salah and taraweeh salah have been performed at this local hall since having started. These services were required as a means of catering for many local Muslims who did not have access.

The efforts of revitalising the Imaan of the local Muslims, young and old, rests on the need of a dedicated space to turn to. The Masjid will serve as a hub for the restless hearts and tired minds, bringing all attendees closer to Allah SWT.

Our Imam
